Isabelle Roskam is a Full Professor at the University of Louvain in Belgium. Her current research interests pertain to child developmental psycho(patho)logy, parenting, and parental burnout. Professor Roskam is an author and co-author of more than 145 articles in peer-reviewed journals, 16 books, and 36 book chapters. Her experience in national and international research project leadership are numerous: she is a co-founder and co-leader (with Prof. M. Mikolajczak) of the International Investigation of Parental Burnout (IIPB) consortium gathering over 100 scholars from more than 50 countries (2017-Present). Also, professor Roskam is currently a project leader of the national ARC grant “Parental burnout and its consequences for children: Towards an integrated and multilevel approach (PIs: A. Heeren, I. Aujoulat, A. François, M. Mikolajczak; 2019-2024) and was a project leader of the national ARC grant “An experimental approach of how poor parenting and cognitive dysfunction impact on externalizing behaviour in young children (PIs: M-P. Noël, N. Nader, M-A. Schelstraete; 2011-2016).
